I am very glad to announce that the 3rd Annual HiLASE workshop will be held on October 14-17, 2018 at Chateau Dolni Brezany, Czech Republic.
Over the past few years, HiLASE has grown into an extraordinary technological infrastructure in the field of application-oriented laser research. Under one roof we develop the next generation of high power Diode Pumped Solid State Lasers, while at the same time, exploit these unique light sources for a wide range of hi-tech industrial applications. Our mission is to build a strong relationship with industry and transform our advanced lasers from laboratory prototypes to real products.
To highlight our mission “Superlasers for the Real World”, each session will be launched by a globally recognized Keynote Speaker. You will have a chance to enjoy inspiring lectures by prof. Wolfgang Kautek (University of Vienna, Austria), Dr. Arnold Gillner (Fraunhofer-Institut für Lasertechnik, Germany), Dr. Enam Chowdhury (Ohio State University, USA), Dr. Kurt J. Weingarten (Lumentum Operations, Switzerland).
The workshop will present the broad application potential of HiLASE Centre, describe the scientific & industrial opportunities, and highlight our recent achievements as well as future capabilities in the development of customized high average power lasers. The event will be a forum for the discussion of technological bottlenecks, preparation of joint R&D projects, commercialization of results, and networking.
