On the 8th of February a group of journalists from the South Korea visited the HiLASE Centre in order to learn more about the functioning of the research centre and its contribution to industry. They were interested especially in the developing cooperation with South Korean research organisations such as KAIST and GIST. Beside that they also appreciated the cooperation of the Hilase centre with the KETI and AXEL institutions on developement of a medical laser that could be used e.g. in microsurgery.
