Laser Matter Interaction

Theory and numerical modelling of interaction of laser light with materials of different kinds: processes in metals and band-gap materials under laser excitation; laser-induced phase transitions; propagation of laser beams through transparent materials in the regimes of materials modification; pulsed laser ablation; gasdynamics of laser ablation plumes and laser ablation plasma.
