Under one roof we develop the next generation of high power Diode Pumped Solid State Lasers, while at the same time, exploit these unique light sources for a wide range of hi-tech industrial applications. Our mission is to build a strong relationship with industry and transform our advanced lasers from laboratory prototypes to real products.<\/p>\n<p>To highlight our mission \u201cSuperlasers for the Real World\u201d, each session will be launched by a globally recognized Keynote Speaker. You will have a chance to enjoy inspiring lectures by prof. Wolfgang Kautek (University of Vienna, Austria), Dr. Arnold Gillner (Fraunhofer-Institut f\u00fcr Lasertechnik, Germany), Dr. Enam Chowdhury (Ohio State University, USA), Dr. Kurt J. Weingarten (Lumentum Operations, Switzerland).<\/p>\n<p>The workshop will present the broad application potential of HiLASE Centre, describe the scientific &amp; industrial opportunities, and highlight our recent achievements as well as future capabilities in the development of customized high average power lasers.
