Derrien<\/strong>, head of the computational group of Ultrafast Photonics at the HiLASE Centre, attended the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/events.it4i.cz\/event\/190\/\">7th IT4I supercomputer users meeting<\/a><\/strong>. The annual workshop was an excellent opportunity to meet colleagues from computational groups from IOCB, Institute of Physics of the CAS, CEITEC Brno, CATRIN Olomouc, Institute of Plasma Physics of the CAS, ELI Beamlines, IT4I, and more.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hilase.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/Thibault-Derrien-co-chaired-the-7th-IT4I-users-workshop.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Derrien delivered an oral presentation titled <strong>\u201eBenchmark of time-dependent density functional theory simulations on a variety of European CPU-based supercomputers\u201c<\/strong>. He presented a summary of the predictions obtained using quantum simulations (time-dependent density functional theory, TDDFT) along with an overview of high performance computation analyses gathered since 2016 on a variety of <a href=\"https:\/\/top500.org\/\">Top500.org<\/a> CPU-based super-computers.<\/p>\n<p>He also attended the meeting with the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.it4i.cz\/en\/for-users\/user-council\">Users Council<\/a><\/strong> as secretary and chaired the sessions of presentations on Tuesday.<\/p>\n","oddelovace":"none"}]},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v23.9 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Thibault Derrien co-chaired the 7th IT4I users workshop - HiLASE<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Dr. Thibault J.-Y.
