It was awarded by the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg (le gouvernement du grand-duch\u00e9 de luxembourg) on 7th of February 2024.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hilase.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/Method-for-improving-surface-integrity-of-an-additive-manufactured-mesoscopic-gear-product-thereof-and-device-carrying-out-the-method.-1.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The patent is regarding a method for improving surface integrity of an additive manufactured mesoscopic gear, product thereof and device carrying out the method.<\/p>\n<p>The present invention relates to a <strong>method for improving service life of mesoscopic gear manufactured by an additive manufacturing method<\/strong>. The outer diameter of the mesoscopic gear is characterized by range from 1 mm to 10 mm. The method according to the present invention provides introduction of compressive residual stress below the surface of the gear while the mesoscopic geometry remains the same.
