The event was organized by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmvss.cz\/\">TMV SS spol. s r. o.<\/a> in cooperation with the German thermal camera manufacturer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.infratec.eu\/company\/\">InfraTec<\/a> Dresden.<\/p>\n<p>The seminar was intended for experts from academia, research professionals, R&amp;D specialists, NDT &#8211; non-destructive testing experts, as well as representatives from industry, development, and manufacturing. The program was designed to connect theoretical foundations with practical applications.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hilase.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2-197.png\" alt=\"tmvss\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>From Principles to Advanced Applications<br \/>\n<\/strong>The seminar offered a comprehensive overview of modern thermography &#8211; from fundamental principles to advanced technologies used in research, automation, and industry.<\/p>\n<p>Participants were introduced to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the theory and principles of thermography<\/li>\n<li>comparison of thermal and photon detectors<\/li>\n<li>LWIR uncooled systems and MWIR technology for research applications<\/li>\n<li>radiometric short-wave infrared SWIR systems<\/li>\n<li>spectral and multispectral thermography<\/li>\n<li>active and lock-in thermography methods for professional NDT<\/li>\n<li>microscopic applications in thermography<\/li>\n<li>measurement of high dynamic range scenes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The program also included software tools for data analysis and processing, such as Hikmicro Analyzer and InfraTec IRBIS Professional, as well as the presentation of infrared modules for machine vision and automation applications.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Practical Demonstrations and Workshop<br \/>\n<\/strong>A significant part of the seminar consisted of hands-on demonstrations. Participants had the opportunity to work with different types of thermal cameras, compare technologies, and observe their performance under real measurement conditions.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop included, for example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>triggering options for thermal cameras<\/li>\n<li>measurements on surfaces and through materials<\/li>\n<li>applications of active thermography with electrical excitation<\/li>\n<li>demonstrations of temporal and spatial resolution<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The seminar was held in a professional and friendly atmosphere, with sufficient space for questions and individual consultations.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, we would like to thank TMV SS spol. s r. o. for organizing the event and for the cooperation, the partners for their technical support, and especially the speakers V\u00e1clav Straka, Ji\u0159\u00ed Svoboda, David Kubo\u0161, Mikol\u00e1\u0161 Choura, and Markus Gl\u00fcck for their professional and well-structured contributions, which provided participants with valuable insights into the field of modern
