Its aim was to provide participants with a clear yet technically solid foundation in the field of laser interlocks &#8211; from relevant standards and laser classification to the practical principles behind safety system design and implementation.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hilase.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/1-213.png\" alt=\"Interlock\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Throughout the day, participants were introduced to an overview of laser safety standards, laser classification, related risks and hazards, technical measures according to \u010cSN EN 60825-1, as well as requirements for protective housings according to \u010cSN EN 60825-4. An important part of the programme also covered the concepts of SIL, PL, ISO 13849-1 and related safety design requirements. The following sessions focused on interlock system design, examples of safety hardware applications and wiring, Safety PLC, and programming demonstrations. The training also included a laboratory tour and final networking.<\/p>\n<p>We are very pleased with the feedback from participants, which clearly highlights the value of this pilot session:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;It is clear that HiLASE is home to experts in their field who are able to explain and train even an ordinary person in the area of safety and working with lasers.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;I gained a much better understanding of what lies behind proper laser system design. Very important insights in terms of fundamental measures and safety when working with lasers.&#8221;<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The first session also showed that this type of specialised training has a strong place in the LTC portfolio. Following the successful pilot launch, we have therefore opened a new date, scheduled for <strong>9 September 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>More information and registration: <a
