CAEPO unites key institutions involved in research on electron, photon, and quantum technologies.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hilase.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/caepo.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Led by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.isibrno.cz\/cs\">Institute of Scientific Instruments<\/a> of the Czech Academy of Sciences (ISI CAS), this project focuses on the development and implementation of cutting-edge technologies in these fields, aiming to advance both Czech and global research. The project seeks to enhance research excellence and the practical relevance of academic partners while promoting knowledge transfer to industrial partners.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Focus Areas of CAEPO:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Electron and light microscopy and spectroscopy,<\/li>\n<li>Advanced lasers and their applications,<\/li>\n<li>Opto-fiber sensors and probes,<\/li>\n<li>Micro- and nanostructured surfaces and optical components,<\/li>\n<li>Ultra-sensitive detection at the limits of physical principles,<\/li>\n<li>Ultra-precise metrology for manufacturing,<\/li>\n<li>Development of sophisticated components and systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Funding and Timeline:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe CAEPO project is co-funded with state support by the <a href=\"https:\/\/tacr.gov.cz\/\">Technology Agency of the Czech Republic<\/a> (TA CR) within the National Competence Centre program.
