Researchers' Night 2026 at HiLASE CentreThis year on the topic of COMMUNICATION

This year’s Researchers' Night is all about Communication. At the HiLASE Centre, we will explore one of the ways humanity has learned to communicate and share information: through light. Our hands-on exhibits will show how light is used for communication and why its unique properties make it so useful for transmitting information.

You can also look forward to two talks, guided tours of our laser micromachining experimental halls, and live demonstrations of our materials testing machine, where we test samples prepared in our laboratories.

For one evening, you can step inside the places where laser research is turned into real-world technologies.

The full programme, including the talks, tours and demonstrations, is available in the Czech version of this page.
