Laser Safety Training for laser operators, laser workplace managers, laser safety officers (LSOs), and occupational safety and health officers.
OBJECTIVE
To familiarize participants with the basic occupational safety requirements for the use of laser equipment.
Participants will receive a certificate of successful completion of the training, valid for 3 years from the date of issue.

PROGRAMME
- Classification of lasers according to ČSN EN 60825-1 ed. 3 (including amendment A11:2021)
- Legal regulations concerning the use of laser equipment
- Maximum permissible laser exposure values and their determination (Government Regulation No. 291/2015 Coll.)
- Effects of laser radiation on the eyes and skin
- Selection and correct use of protective eyewear:
- laser protective eyewear (ČSN EN 207)
- eyewear for alignment work (ČSN EN 208)
- Hazards associated with the use of laser equipment
- Basic safe working practices
- Examples of near misses and accidents involving lasers
