E15: Space privatisation should be regulated, says former NASA research centre chief in interview Prague Laser Space Apps Conference at the HiLASE Centre

The former head of the NASA Research Centre, astrophysicist Pete Worden, visited Prague as part of the Prague Laser Space Apps conference at the HiLASE Centre. Pete Worden is currently the director of Breakthrough Initiatives, a private foundation dedicated to the search for extraterrestrial life and space exploration. “Current space programmes are putting more emphasis on mining space for resources and colonising planets,” Worden says in an interview with E15.
