Wide spectral range optical characterization of yttrium aluminum garnet (YAG) single crystal by the universal dispersion model Paper

Our colleague Mihai-George Mureșan is a co-author of an article on Wide spectral range optical characterization of yttrium aluminum garnet (YAG) single crystal by the universal dispersion model published recently in Optical Materials Express (Optica Publishing Group).

Perhaps we cannot speak about modern lasers without thinking about the active laser medium and their importance. The most popular lasing media for solid-state lasers is the YAG (yttrium aluminium garnet) in crystalline or ceramic (amorphous) form which is doped with rare-earth materials.

Therefore is of the uttermost importance understanding its optical properties in undoped form while broadening this knowledge to various contributions of the selected dopants. For this reason, we put at disposal the latest findings of the optically characterized YAG single crystal using unique dispersion models in wide spectral range and at room temperature.
