The HiLASE Center reopened to researchers as part of the Open Access call

At the beginning of Decmeber, another round of the Open Acces call took place at the HiLASE Center. This time, researchers from the Center for Applied Research of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, Jiří Martan, Denys Moskal, and Carlos Ballardin Beltrami, had the opportunity to use the HiLASE research infrastructure. Their goal was to measure the accumulation of heat and heat processes during micromachining by PERLA C ultrashort laser pulses with an average power of up to 150 W

Open Access is a programme of the HiLASE Center, in which external users from scientific institutions can request the use of the research infrastructure of the center. Since 2017, there has been at least one Open Access call per year. Information on the conditions of inclusion in the Open Access programme and a link for registration can be found HERE.
